                                             About us

To Live by Faith, to be known by Love, and to be a Voice of Hope! To connect with God, connect with others, and connect others with God.

I sense, if we could put our finger on it and feel the heartbeat of New Life Community Church, it would pulse with the above mission statement. God has called this church to be mission minded. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets.

— Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)

Put God first, and serve others like never before.

Live by FAITH.

We strive to live by faith, for we walk by faith, not by sight. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV). Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. — Hebrews 11:6 (KJV).

Faith has action... Faith shows response. We must activate our faith.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. --James 2:17-18 (KJV)

Known by LOVE.

We desire to love without measure. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. — John 13:35 (KJV).

Voice of HOPE.

Voices in our lives matter. There are negative, positive, and just plain off the wall voices that are in our daily lives. In a world full of despair we long to be a voice of hope for all to hear. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”

— 1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)

Our relationship with God should be primary. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

— Matthew 6:33 (KJV). Staying connected to God is a must in our spiritual walk and transformation. “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

— John 15:5 (KJV). Jesus said without this relationship we can do nothing. This mindset will lead us to reaching for others and desire for them to share this same joy in walking with our Lord. The Apostle Paul said, “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

— 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)
